First stop, Berlin

Pariser Platz square

The Pariser Platz is one of the city’s most attractive squares. Buildings around this historical square were only ruins after the Second War World. Only after the reunification of Germany reconstruction started.

The Berlin Wall Memorial

This historic location is the place of the Berlin Wall Memorial, where the partition of Berlin is remembered. Nowadays, the large open-air exhibition on the former border includes 4 areas with historical audio materials and pictures, a visitors’ center and an observation tower.

The Holocaust Memorial

Situated between the Brandenburg Gate and Potsdamer Platz, we find the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, an imposing place of remembrance and warning. Memorial consists of the Field of Stelae designed by the New York architect Peter Eisenman.

Museum Island

Here you’ll find many of the city’s most important museums, including the Old Museum, the New Museum, the National Gallery, and the Bode Museum. If you’re only able to see one or two museums, make sure one of them is the Pergamon.

St. Vitus Cathedral

Festival Prague Crossroads

2nd – 8th October 2017

In 2016, the zero edition of the Festival Prague Crossroads took place with the objective to mark what would have been the 80th birthday of former Czech president and playwright Václav Havel.

This 2017, the festival continues in the same direction. A cultural event with a rescindable program here available that follows the activist legacy of Václav Havel of reflecting the reality of our current situation. Theater lovers will enjoy dramatic themes that move today’s Europe.
